The Federal Government has started the payment of ASUU’s salaries that were previously withheld.
This has been confirmed by the Chairperson of ASUU at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Gbolahan Bolarin, who has verified the situation officially, who said, “Yes, it is true. Payment has started rolling in.”
Recall, that in October 2023, President Bola Tinubu has authorized the payment of four months’ worth of salaries that had been withheld by ASUU, out of the total eight months owed to the workers.
