The Federal Government has initiated Mines Marshals to addressing the issues of illegal mining.
The Nigerian federal government has enlisted the The Mines Marshals is enlisted as a unit of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), by the Federal Government.
This is all in a bid to eliminate these problems of illegal mining and trafficking of solid minerals in Nigeria.
This took place at the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development in Abuja on Thursday 20th march.
