The Chairman, Abia State Labour Party, Mr Ceekay Igara, has lauded governor Alex Otti for changing the narrative by making himself and government accessible for the masses.
Igara while speaking during a Town Hall meeting and commissioning of projects attended by governor Otti and other top government officials, at Ohafia Local Government Area headquarters on Thursday, expressed happiness that ‘things are getting in shape than what has been seen in the last 24 years’.
He assured that the developments coming into Ohafia is only but a tip of the iceberg as governor Alex Otti is determined to reshape the entire state including the grassroot areas.
“In the past, it was very difficult for the people to access either of the governor, deputy governor or even the Local Government Chairman. But in Labour Party, it is not like that.
“Our governor has demystified leadership and has also demystified every protocols to see them because if he doesn’t listen to you, he will not get the feedback he is looking for ” the Labour Party state chairman stated.
He assured that “after some of these preliminary things, everything you are expecting from His Excellency and the government, you will get them. I know your problems, His excellency has heard all of them. If we do one thing, we will be sure we have done it and that one thing will stand the test of time”.
