The decision by some to join APC/PDP has been known by some of us as far back as January 2024. What we’re unable to determine is if they were contracted to ensure internal implosion of Obidients and Labour Party as a criteria for acceptance on the other side.
To many of us, this seems to be the trajectory of the current NLC NTC and most of their peers.
Immediately after the Feb. 2023 elections; those whose means of livelihood are based in Nigeria and depends heavily on Government patronage , suddenly became aware that they’ll go hungry or even perish; if they don’t align with the Government in Power.
The Crisis in LP was an attempt by some of them to hijack Labour Party and use it as a hunger supporting base; has nothing to do with Peter Obi or Obidients.
If it’s about Peter Obi, then they shouldn’t have any problem obeying PO and respecting PO reconciliation move.
While so many might be naive and probably acted unintentionally, some of us knew so much about this machinations that we tried to ameliorate the damage. The aim was to destroy and destabilise our collective efforts from the inside, and ensure PO doesn’t have a platform or Party for 2027……….clearing the coast for an APC candidate.
One thing is certain……… any smart fellow will see this coming.
PO gave us a hint when he said; *Politics is not a Career*……… ask them what’s their business or profession; once you can link the survival of their business or profession to government patronage; then just know you’re in a deep shit. That’s the early warning signs.
More will port, not all can survive 4yrs without ruling party money.
Labour Party is not APC, Peter Obi is not Thiefnibu. They’ll try to compromise us; but it’ll all come to a naughtiest dead end.
Labour Party is our Party, Obidient is our home, come rain or shine.
We live and we die as OBIDIENTS and Labour Party members.
Those who can’t stand the heat, shouldn’t come close to the kitchen; opposition is not a tea party. We encourage them to leave as early as possible.
A Peter Obi Presidency in 2027 is our target…… and no amount of APC dollars can change this.
