
The collapsed building which is located close to the popular Cupid Hotel on Cupid Road, Sultan Dasuki Way in the Kubwa area of Abuja, was originally known as Al-Hilal Hotel but was transformed to a hospital and most recently, a residential apartment.
Reports has it that Responders have rescued four people from the two-storey residential building which collapsed on Saturday morning in Abuja.
Two persons who were earlier rescued from the rubble were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, while a few others managed to escape independently.
Although earlier, some reporters claimed that a yet-to-be-confirmed number of people were trapped in a section of the two-storey residential building that collapsed in Abuja on Saturday morning.
As of now, emergency responders and security personnel are actively engaged in ongoing rescue operations at the collapsed site.
Meanwhile, one person is still trapped under the debris, with efforts underway to free them.
