President Tinibu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar

President Tinibu who is also the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has accused Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of Certificate forgery.

Recall that recently the United States District Court for  the Northern District of Illinois ordered the Chicago State University to make available all documents requested by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who accused President Tinibu of Certificate forgery and Identity theft.

But Alhaji Atiku in his World Press Conference after the Compliance of the order of the Court by the Chicago State University in the FCT, informed the general Public that the Chicago State University certificate, which BAT submitted to INEC, was forged, for the simple reason that the University has expressly stated that the certificate did not come from them, which is the condition necessary to prove forgery. Which the Presidency hasn’t made any statement contradicting or accepting the Position of the PDP Presidential Candidate rather referencing on the report of the BBC , which claims no evidence showing that President Tinibu committed forgery.

Meanwhile, there is a counter accusation by President Bola Tinubu against  Alhaji Atiku,  alleging of identity fraud and forgery, who is seen to be his primary opponent, in an attempt to punch holes in the PDP candidate’s appeal to have him disqualified at the Supreme Court.

Mr Tinubu’s counter affidavit filed at the apex court on October 12,  accused Mr Abubakar of submitting fake credentials to Nigeria’s electoral commission, INEC, in that he bore “Atiku Kojoli” on his primary school certificate and “Siddiq Abubakar” on his 1965 West African School Certificate and General Certificate of Examination (WASSCE). It is expected then of the supreme court to decide who indeed committed forgery in this instance.
