Promotion comes with greater responsibility – Jigawa CP tells officers
The Nigerian Police Force, NPF, has charged officers to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity through professionalism, integrity, and discipline.
Jigawa State Command, CP Dahiru Muhammad, stated this while addressing 155 promoted officers at the command’s headquarters in Dutse.
He reminded the officers that promotion comes with greater responsibility and challenges.
CP Dahiru Muhammad congratulated the newly promoted officers and conveyed the heartfelt message of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, who commended their dedication and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
CP Dahiru Muhammad decorated one hundred and fifty-five (155) newly promoted officers, including: Two (2) Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs), CSP Sama’ila Solomon and CSP Ahmad Baila Mohammed.
Three (3) Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) were elevated to Superintendents of Police (SPs), SP Abdullahi Tahir, SP Haruna Ibrahim, and SP Idris H. Rabiu.
One hundred and fifty (150) unconfirmed Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs II) were now confirmed as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs).
Among them are the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Jigawa State Command, ASP Ibrahim Sunusi Idris, ASP Muhammad Kabir Musa, and others.
Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, CSP Sama’ila Solomon expressed profound appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, the Commissioner of Police, and the Command’s Management Team for the recognition and encouragement, pledging their renewed commitment to the ideals and objectives of the Nigerian Police Force.
