The Abia South Mayor Chief Uche Wogu in Collaboration with Harmonised Task Force of the State Government has arrested some Destitutes and Street beggars in an effort to sanitise the Aba environment.
The areas where they were arrested includes the Bata and Brass axis of the city centre.
The children were sent to motherless babies’ homes while some grown ups were handed over to the law enforcement agencies
Some of them were found with stolen phones, Indian hemps etc
