Gov. Alex Otti approves site for NAFDAC office complex, laboratory, in Aba | Read Details
Governor Alex Otti has approved a proposed location for the National Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC office complex and laboratory, at Umuoba road by 7up, off Ogbor hill, Aba, the state capital.
The governor represented by His Deputy, Engineer Ikechukwu Emetu, announced this during a stakeholders meeting on “Empowering SMEs for Growth and Compliance” organised by the Abia State government through the Ministry of Digital Economy and SMEs.
He also approved for free CAC registration for 150 businesses present at the stakeholders meeting.
Speaking during the meeting, te Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye underscored the central role SMEs play in driving economic development and providing employment opportunities for Nigerians across the country.
The Director-General supported 25 SMEs in attendance with free NAFDAC registration.
