The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos State has affirmed the election of member representing the Ideato North/Ideato South Federal Constituency of Imo State, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu, as the validly elected Member of the House of Representatives.
The Appeal Court panel led by Justice Abubakar Babandi Gumel set aside the ruling of the Tribunal which had sacked Ugochinyere and declared the candidate of the APC as the Winner.
