Atlético Madrid have reached a full agreement to sign Nigerian international Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, with all details now finalised.

The Spanish club will pay a fixed fee of €35m, with a further €5m in add ons included in the deal, taking the total package to €40m. The agreement was concluded after decisive talks on Saturday night.

Lookman has also agreed personal terms on a long term contract, clearing the final hurdle for the transfer to proceed.

Atlético are now planning the player’s travel arrangements and medical examinations, which are expected to take place shortly, ahead of the formal completion of the move.
