The Appeal sitting in Abuja has Affirmed Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan as duly Elected Senator for Kogi Central Senatorial District Tuesday.
The court dismissed the appeal filed by Abubakar Ohere for lacking in merit.
The Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Lokoja had nullify the victory of Ohere of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Kogi Central Senatorial Election in September.
The court further declared Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the actual winner of the February senatorial poll.
However, Ohere had approached the Appeal Court in Abuja to seek redress but the court still upheld Akpoti-Uduagan as true winner of the poll.
