
The Supreme Court has dismissed the lawsuit seeking the removal of President Bola Tinubu from office.
The suit which was filed by the presidential candidate of the Hope Democratic Party, Ambrose Aworu, sought Tinubu’s removal on the basis of Central Intelligence Agency and drug allegations.
The court on Monday held that the suit was frivolous and that Owuru be fined the sum of N5 million.
In addition to the N5 million penalty, the supreme court has instructed its Registry to reject any further frivolous originating summons from Owuru.
