The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara in the March 18, 2023 governorship election, dismissing the appeal filed by the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Patrick Tonye-Cole.
The five-man panel in a unanimous decision held that the appellants failed to prove the issues bothering on noncompliance with the electoral act.
