Chinese Sentenced For Ki-lling His 22-Year-Old Lover In Kano | READ DETAILS
A court sitting in Kano State, has sentenced a Chinese businessman, Frank Geng Quarong to death by hanging, after being found guilty of killi-ng his girlfriend, Ummu Kulthum Sani in September, 2022.
Quarong was found in the victim’s room after he had stab-bed her several times.
Reacting to the court judgement, the victim’s brother, Sadiq Sani, Lauded the judiciary for upholding justice, adding that whoever kil-ls anyone deserved to be kil-led too.
“We thank God for showing us this day… I pray that my sister’s soul continues to rest in peace,” he added.
Quarong, 49, and Misss Sani who was an undergraduate, had been in a relationship since 2020 after having met in a shopping mall.
However, trouble started when the victim wanted out of the relationship which did not augur well with Quarong.
The accused was in the country working for a Nigerian textiles firm.
