Cross River gov rewards Super Falcons star Miracle Usani with N50m, land
Super Falcons defender Miracle Usani has been rewarded with N50 million and a plot of land by Cross River Governor Bassey Otu.
Usani was also appointed Cross River State’s Sports ambassador.
Otu made the announcement at a reception held in the player’s honour at his office in Calabar.
The 18-year-old was part of the Super Falcons squad that won the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title this summer in Morocco.
The left-back made a single appearance for the Super Falcons during the tournament.
It was her first title with Justine Madugu’s side.
