Ex-Senator Abdulaziz Nyako dumps ADC months after joining party
Former federal lawmaker, who represented the Adamawa Central in the 8th National Assembly, Senator Abdulaziz Nyako, has dumped the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Nyako, who announced his decision on Sunday, has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
The former lawmaker, who is popularly known as Commander, dumped the ADC months after joining due to factions in the Adamawa State chapter.
Addressing journalists, the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri said after taking control of the ruling party in the state, it was necessary to bring leaders like Nyako on board.
The governor confirmed that the lawmaker is now a card carrying member of the APC.
