Flying Eagles draw with Chile in pre- lWorld Cup friendly
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles were forced to a 1-1 draw in a friendly match in Rancagua on Saturday.
Ahmed Akinyele gave Nigeria the lead with a header in the 18th minute.
Chile drew level in the 28th minute through Felipe Faúndez.
The Flying Eagles will take on Australia in another friendly match next Tuesday.
They will then shift attention to the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup after the game.
Aliyu Zubairu’s side are drawn in Group F with Norway, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia.
