Former Jigawa Central Senator Nakudu joins ADC
A former senator representing Jigawa Central, Sabo Muhammad Nakudu, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Speaking shortly after registering with the party in Dutse, the state capital, Nakudu explained that his departure from the All Progressives Congress (APC) was motivated by a desire to align with a more inclusive political platform focused on grassroots development and internal party democracy.
DAILY POST reported that Mr Nakudu had recently resigned from the APC.
He expressed optimism that the ADC presents a strong alternative capable of addressing the challenges confronting Jigawa State.
The former senator also officially announced his ambition to run for the governorship in the 2027 general elections under the ADC.
“Our decision follows extensive consultation and careful consideration. We are convinced that the ADC offers a credible platform to realise our vision for a better Jigawa,” he said.
