Former Super Eagles forward, Ujah retires from football
Former Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah on Friday announced his retirement from professional football, DAILY POST reports.
The 34-year-old last played for Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv.
Ujah’s time with Potev Plovdiv was disrupted by injury as he featured in only five games for the club, scoring two goals.
The striker made the announcement on the social media.
”Today, I make the toughest decision of my life, retiring from professional football,” he wrote.
Ujah spent majority of his career in Germany.
He was capped seven times by Nigeria with one goal to his name.
