Ayo Olorunfemi, the Deputy National Chairman of the Labour Party has revealed that the internal crisis within the Labour Party is attributable to the actions of certain individuals, including Peter Obi and others who called for a recent meeting.
He pointed out that these individuals have now revealed their true intentions and their role in instigating the conflict.
Olorunfemi further stated that the party plans to address these issues through established rules and procedures, emphasizing that the constitution holds supreme authority and no single member is above the party itself.
Ayo Olorunfemi said this while speaking in an interview on Arise TV today.
According to him, “From what you have seen, you have seen those who are fueling the crisis that we have been seeing all these years. The people who summon this meeting, Peter Obi and others were the people fueling the crisis in the Labour Party and they just manifested themselves. And, we are going to deal with this via our rule. The constitution is supreme. No matter who you are, you are not greater than the party.”
