IPOB Sit-at-home: Gunmen att@ck soldiers, bur-n vehicles in Aba | WATCH VIDEO
Unknown gunmen on Thursday, attacked a military checkpoint at Obikabia junction in Aba, Abia state, killing soldiers and setting their van ablaze.
The gunmen operated with an SUV jeep and a Sienna.
The assailants enforcing the sit at home order issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, were seen in viral videos shooting sporadically before setting the vehicles ablaze.
A soldier later emerged, with a voice accompanying the video lamenting that “this is the only one that survived; he ran away when they were shooting; others have been killed.”
Another video showed a civilian who was reportedly hit by a stray bullet during the attack.
