How landlord died during argument with tenant in Ogun | read details
A landlord identified as Apeh Benjamin has reportedly died after a heated argument with his tenant in Aribabu village, Sotubo, in Ogun State.
The incident happend at about 6:30am on Sunday over unpaid rent.
According to report, the tenant simple identified as Emmanuel, had in the process of the argument , threatened to ki-ll his landlord.
Confirming the incident to newsmen on Monday, the Ogun State police command spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, said;
“One Apeh Benjamin of Aribabu village, Sotubo Ogun State a landlord slumped, and died at about 0630hrs on 2nd of June, over a heated argument with one Emmanuel his tenant who threatened to kil-l his landlord, over indebted rent.
“Investigation is on.”
