How truck kill-ed family of nine in their house in Benue | READ FULL DETAILS
At about 5am on Thursday, a family of nine lost their lives as a truck rammed into their house while they were asleep at Okete community in the Otukop Local Government Area of Benue State.
Reports says the driver of the truck lost control of the brake and rammed into the residential building situated by the roadside, killing nine members of a family.
Confirming the incident, the Benue State Police Command through it’s spokesperson, Catherine Anene, said;
“On Thursday morning, the command received information that a trailer rammed into a compound in Okete community and killed nine persons.
“It is an unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of Thursday.
“However, the command has launched a full-scale investigation into the incident and further information would be made available to newsmen in due course”.
