Former senator representing Benue North-East, Senator Barnabas Gemade, has declared that he remains deeply engaged in Politics, dismissing claims that he has withdrawn from public life.
He made the clarification at the burial of the late Baba Kunde Alabesa, father of the Benue State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hon. Ephraim Kunde.
Gemade described reports of his political retirement as the handiwork of mischief makers.
According to him, his role in Politics has evolved rather than diminished, explaining that, as a party elder, his responsibilities now centre on offering advice, counsel, and guidance, rather than constant public movement.
