Kofa rejoins APC, gets warm welcome at National Assembly
Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, member representing Kiru/Bebeji constituency in the House of Representatives has officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) along with his colleague, Rt. Hon. Sagir Koki, who represents Kano Municipal and its surroundings.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Jibrin wrote, “Today, I officially joined the APC with my brother, Rt. Hon. Sagir Koki, member representing Kano Municipal and its environs.”
He said they received a warm reception at the House of Representatives from top political figures, including the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin; senior officials of both the Senate and the House; the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; and former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
“I extend my special appreciation to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, GCON, and other senior officials, members, and senators for the warm welcome,” he said.
“We will continue to work together in service to our nation with dedication and commitment.”
