Liverpool take decision on sacking Slot
Liverpool have ruled out any possibility of sacking their manager, Arne Slot, after they suffered their sixth defeat in seven games and crashed out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
The Reds have endured a miserable run under Slot, losing four Premier League games in a row to drop to seventh position on the Premier League table.
Slot’s side is also seven points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal on the log.
However, Liverpool’s poor form continued in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night as they lost 3-0 at Anfield to Crystal Palace.
Slot made ten changes from the Liverpool team that lost to Brentford in the Premier League last weekend.
Liverpool’s shocking run has led to speculation over the Slot’s future at the club.
But according to BBC Sport, there is ‘not a chance’ that Liverpool will evaluate the Dutchman’s future, adding that the 47-year-old still has ‘plenty of credit in the bank’.
Slot won the Premier League title for Liverpool in his debut season at the club.
