Warri Wolves head coach Johnny Austin has commended his players for their performance in the 1-1 draw against Bendel Insurance.

Alex Owolaiyefe opened the scoring for Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday, before Othuke Egbo netted the equaliser for Warri Wolves.

Austin praised his players for adhering to instructions throughout the game.

“I will commend my boys, they always play to instructions which have been key to our impressive form on the road,” Austin stated in a post-match interview.

“We know Bendel Insurance will be tough but we are happy with the point from Benin City.”
