NPFL: Niger Tornadoes players get cash reward for win over Plateau United
Niger Tornadoes players have been rewarded with N1m for their matchday nine victory over Plateau United.
The Ikon Allah Boys defeated Plateau United 4-0 at the Bako Kontagora Stadium on Sunday.
Abdulazeez Dalhatu scored a hat-trick while Shehu Dabai added the fourth goal of the encounter.
Niger State Sports Commission, Chairman Danjuma Abdul Masu, presented the players with the cash reward after the game.
Dalhatu and Dabai were also presented with an award and a cash prize of N200,000 naira for the display in the game.
The victory was Niger Tornadoes fourth of the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.
The Minna club are now unbeaten in their last three games.
They are fourth on the NPFL table with 14 points from nine games.
