Plateau United recorded a slim 1-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors in a matchday six encounter at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday.
The hosts scored the winning goal through Monday Gideon in the 32nd minute.
It was Plateau United’s second win of the season.
The Jos club moved up to 13th position on the table with six points from five games.
In the day’s other fixture, Bendel Insurance played out a 1-1 draw with Bayelsa United.
Kayode Oke gave Insurance the lead from the penalty spot in the 45th minute. The visitors fought back, with Jawad Mustapha netting the equaliser five minutes after the break.
