NPFL: Why Katsina United lost to Nasarawa United – Mohammed
Katsina United technical adviser, Azeez Mohammed, has attributed his team’s 2-0 defeat against Nasarawa United to poor marksmanship.
Last season’s league top scorer, Anas Yusuf, and Abubakar Abdullahi scored for Nasarawa United in the matchday tie played at Lafia City Stadium.
Mohammed said that his players lost concentration in the game.
The young tactician, however, admitted that Nasarawa United deserved to win the game.
“It was a normal game, but we lost our heads in the second half, and we failed to convert our chances, so they took advantage of theirs, and the better side won,” Mohammed reacted after the game.
Katsina United occupy fourth position on the league table with nine points.
Mohammed’s side will lock horns with Rangers in their next game.
