Arm robbers invaded Otukpo Local Government Area of Venue State and robbed many Banks. The robbery incidents claimed many lives as, at least three Police Men and many Bank customers were reportedly killed.
According to sources, the robbers first attacked the Otukpo Divisional Police, where some officers were killed and some weapons carted away before proceeding to the Bank on Friday.
The Banks affected in the robbery are Access, First, Zenith, UBA and Stanbic Bank Otukpo and the robbery went simultaneously.
The robbers were seen leaving the area in a white Hilux and two other vehicles after the operation was unresisted, as the police says their efforts to stop the robbery attack was unsuccessful.
Other sources says, in an attack by the robbers with the Military left two robbers killed.
