PDP crisis: Damagum incompetent – Anyanwu
The expelled National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Samuel Anyanwu, has again described the immediate past factional national chairman of the party, Umar Damagum, as incompetent.
Anyanwu made this statement on Monday while responding to questions in an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on TRUST BASE NEWS monitored by DAILY POST.
His comment comes barely 48 hours after the party concluded its national convention in Ibadan, Oyo State.
DAILY POST reports that during the convention, the party expelled the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, Anyanwu, and the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.

He had also described the party convention as a jamboree and illegal.
“Damagum is incompetent. He is the cause of the division in the PDP. When I heard somebody yesterday at the convention, when they were celebrating, having their jamboree, saying that we must obey the rules of the party, I laughed,” he said.
