The Supreme has Affirmed the Election of President Bola Tinibu as the duly Elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Justices of the Supreme Court headed by Justice John Inyang Okoro, unanimously Affirmed President Tinibu after considering the Appeals of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party and Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court also Struck out the Petitions of the two Petitioners, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the PDP and Mr Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party.
In their unanimous decisions, in striking out the Petitioners petitions, the Supreme Court considered their petitions as lacking in merits.
