BREAKING: Rivers Assembly Clears Commissioners Who Resigned From Fubara’s Cabinet

The Rivers State House of Assembly has on Wednesday, cleared all nine former commissioners who resigned from Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s cabinet in the wake of the political crisis rocking the state.

The nominees whose names were resent to the Assembly by governor Siminalaye Fubara, were asked to take ‘a bow and leave’ the chamber.

Recall that following the rift between Nyesom Wike and Fubara, the commissioners had, in November 2023 tendered their resignation letters.
