Super Eagles Forward Samuel Chukwueze Loses Mother After Brief Illness – Arise News
Super Eagles forward and Fulham FC star Samuel Chukwueze has been thrown into mourning following the death of his mother after a brief illness.
The news was made public by his brother, David Chukwueze, who shared emotional messages on his Instagram story to announce the loss.
In separate posts, he wrote, “Can’t even post your picture to say RIP Mum”, “My forever love just left me without saying goodbye” and “You didn’t even carry your grandchild”.
Samuel Chukwueze, who was part of the Super Eagles squad that finished third at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, is yet to publicly react to the loss.
The bereavement comes days after another tragedy hit the Super Eagles camp, with team captain Wilfred Ndidi recently losing his father in a road accident.
