Ahead of the planned nationwide protest against bad governance starting August 1, a video has emerged showing thugs threatening traders on Lagos Island.
The footage, which has been widely circulated, shows the thugs moving through the market and threatening traders with severe consequences if they do not comply with their demands.
One of the individuals in the video is heard warning, “Nigerians, you are not the only people hungry. Do not come out on August 1st to protest. Well, if you get the mind to come out, see what will happen to you.”
