Tokyo 2025 World Championships: Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan wins silver in 100m hurdles
Nigeria’s track queen, Tobi Amusan, has won silver in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Tokyo 2025 World Championships.
She claimed the prize after clocking a brilliant 12.29s in the final of the 100m hurdles.
This comes after the 28-year-old won her semifinal heat earlier on Monday.
DAILY POST recalls that Amosu clocked an impressive 12.36 seconds to secure her spot in the final.
She finished ahead of the Netherlands’ Nadine Visser and Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska.
Both Visser and Skrzyszowska finished in second and third positions, respectively.
