Transfer: Martinez set for shock Man Utd switch as Chukwueze heads to London
Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez has agreed personal terms with Manchester United.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Argentina World Cup winner is set for a shock transfer to Aston Villa’s Premier League rivals after expressing his desire to join the Red Devils.
As a result, Martinez was left out of Aston Villa’s squad against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Manchester United are now in active talks with Aston Villa to complete the goalkeeper’s move to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, in another development, AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze will be in London tonight to finalise his transfer to Fulham on Monday.
Chukwueze is expected to join the Premier League side on a permanent deal and will undergo his medical on Monday.
The Nigeria international had joined AC Milan from Spanish La Liga club Villarreal in 2023.
