It was a drama as the NLC Political Commission protested at the national headquarters of the Labour Party in Abuja Tuesday 25 June 2024.
Sources privy to the purpose for their protest at the party headquarters who spoke to Trustbase news at the Party headquarters on Tuesday says that their plan was to take over the headquarters of the Labour Party.
Unfortunately, their plans were aborted as members of the Labour Party were on ground waiting for them to see how their plans can be executed.
Moreso, Mr Peter Obi, the LP Presidential candidate in the 2023 was also in attendance as the LP NWC chaired by Bar Julius Abure meets at the party secretariat today.
Mr Obi who Preaches for peace for the protesting NLC political commission urged them to embrace reconciliation so as to work together with the party to form a formidable front.
