WAFCON 2026Q: Gambia’s Fatou to officiate Benin vs Super Falcons
Gambia’s Ngum Fatou will take charge of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture between Benin Republic and Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.
The first leg second round tie will hold at the Stade de Kegue, Lome on Thursday.
Mauritanians Mariem Chedad (assistant referee one) and Hamedine Houleye (assistant referee two) will assist Fatou.
Another Gambian, Isatou Touray, will take up the role fourth official.
Niger Republic’s Halimatou Hamidou will take up the role of match commissioner, while Martha Nyekanyeka from Malawi will be the referee assessor.
The game will kick-off at 4pm Nigerian time.
