Wike holds closed-door meeting with PDP Secretary Anyanwu, others in Abuja
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is currently meeting with members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, loyal to him.
The meeting is taking place at Wike’s official residence in Abuja.
It began at 8:40 pm and has now entered a closed-door session.
In attendance are senior PDP figures, including the National Secretary, Sam Anyanwu; National Vice Chairman (South-South), Dan Orbih; and former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.
Others present include former Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu; former Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; former Senator representing Rivers East, George Sekibo; as well as other zonal and state party chairmen.
Earlier in the day, during his monthly media chat, Wike disclosed that he and some members of the party would be meeting later.
