Be wary of scammers soliciting money on my behalf – APC Senator warns constituents
A member of the National Assembly, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has declared that an impostor has opened a Facebook account in his name in a bid to defraud people.
Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District on the platform of All Progressives Congress, made this declaration via a statement issued by his media office.
The statement was made available to DAILY POST on Sunday.
Alli warned his constituents not to fall victim.
He said, “We strongly advise the public not to engage in any transaction or communication with anyone on social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Messenger, or any other similar channels, claiming to represent Senator Alli.
“The Senator does not solicit funds, personal details, or business dealings through social media.
“Anyone who has information about the impostor is kindly urged to report to the nearest police station for necessary action”.
