Barcelona’s Pedri picks between Ballon d’Or, UEFA Champions League
Ahead of the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris tonight, Barcelona midfielder has picked the UEFA Champions League over the top individual prize.
The Spain international said he would rather win the Champions League than the Ballon d’Or.
According to him, he never valued individual trophies in his career so far.
Pedri is among top contenders for the 2025 Ballon d’Or following his impressive performance for Barcelona and Spain.
“The Ballon d’Or? I would rather win the Champions League with Barcelona,” Pedrid said as quoted by TouchlineX.
“I never valued individual trophies. What counts for me is my team winning every game and making the fans enjoy and be proud.”
Pedri is expected to compete with the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappe, Mohamed Salah, Vitinha and Raphinha for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
