
Former Senator and human rights activist Shehu Sani has urged the Court of Appeal not to overturn the popular choice of the people in the governorship election disputes in Kano and Plateau states.
Sen. Sani, a PDP chieftain from Kaduna state, made the appeal ahead of the appellate court’s verdict on the mentioned election disputes as the he Court of Appeal is set to deliver its judgment on Friday, November 17, concerning the governorship election dispute between Governor Abba Yusuf of the NNPP and Nasiru Gawuna of the APC.Â
“I appeal to the Court of Appeal not to overturn the popular Choice of the People in respect to Plateau and Kano states”. Sen Shehu Sani said.
