The David of Abia, Hon Ceekay Igara has conveyed his message of hope to Abians, in his July new month message.

Igara, the Governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Abia State under the Abure faction reminds Abians of the season we are into, where God is supreme and directs the affairs of Men in leadership.

According to his message, it is an eternal truth when leadership is guided by the fear of God, which results, reflect on the affairs of the people for good.

He therefore encourages Abians to walk in love and hold to hope and faith, assuring that Abia’s future is bright, a land Blessed by God with immense potentials, where he is honoured to come from and to walk his journey of renewal of hope and shared prosperity with the people of Abia.

“Beloved People of Abia,

As we step into this new month, my heart is full of quiet, unshakable confidence in the future that lies ahead for us. There is a shift in the atmosphere—a gentle, steady breeze of hope that whispers of better days, greater opportunities, and a renewed sense of purpose for our beloved state.

We are entering a season where our focus is shifting upward, toward the One who holds the destiny of nations in His hands. Hope, when anchored in the Almighty, is not just a wish; it is a certainty. It is the assurance that when we walk in the path of integrity and seek the common good, we invite the favour of Heaven to rest upon our land.

There is a beautiful, eternal truth: when leadership is guided by the fear of God and a heart of compassion, the result is the flourishing of the people. I am deeply convinced that Abia is ripe for this harvest. We are moving toward a time where our prosperity will not be found in the strength of men, but in the wisdom and grace of God.
